Pros: clean layout,fit atx case well, processor and fan fit well into socket, runs quick
Cons: still trying to get case led's to light, had trouble with driver for onboard sound, installed an Audigy, worked well
Overall Review: a few small problems,still getting to know the board, overall it runs well and doing the job right now, would buy another if I needed one
Pros: Front-panel connectors are labeled pretty well on the board. Cheap and so far is reliable. POSTs much quicker than what is was replacing. Manual is decent. For the price you can't go wrong for a basic system.
Cons: Doesn't seem to like single-sided DIMMs. Gave me blue screen of death at end of windows install first time. Had to disable onboard devices and then it installed fine. Northbridge heatsink could be better. I/O panel is a little flimsy and lan port is a little off with it.
Overall Review: Be sure to disable onboard devices in the BIOS before installing XP and don't forget to set the CMOS jumper to the normal setting before booting up.
Hp Officejet Pro 8600 Driver Download
Pros: It had all features I needed.
Cons: This is my second PC Chips board. The frist would not install Windows XP, The second is D.O.A. No video, no POST codes.
Overall Review: Newegg has been really helpful, all things considered. The RMA process was fast as well.
Pros: Replace a dead motherboard and it does what I ask it to do
Cons: Nothing to report
Overall Review: Lacks certain features because of its pricepoint but not a con because it isn't a server class board. In this case getting what you've paid for isn't a bad thing.
Canon Printer Driver Download
Pros: Worked out of box and cheap.
Cons: Only has 266MHz bus speed. You need a much older & slower processor to work with this.
Free Microsoft Update Drivers Automatically
Overall Review: Don't trust PCCHIPS's website, this board doesn't support a Sempron processor, even with BIOS upgrades. Skip this board, pay $5 dollars more and get one with a bus speed of 333 or 400 MHz.
Hp Laserjet 1020 Driver Download
Pros: Great documentation for first timers like myself. Everything worked first time no doa here thankfully. IMO worth every penny and then some.
Cons: System will not reboot for some reason. Everything else is peachy though. It's most likely something I did or didn't do.
Overall Review: Ordered Monday, got it wednesday, one day ahead of schedule. No small feat considering it went from California to Northern Maine. An overall great experience at newegg. I'll be back.
