A turn based war game, Medieval II: Total War is an indirect sequel to Medieval: Total War and the fourth installment of the Total War series from The Creative Assembly. This strategic game is real time with tactically oriented battles. If you enjoy turned based gameplay, Medieval II: Total War is a great game for the fans of real time strategy games.

This game is set between the years of 1080 and 1530 with the deals of the politics and religion set in Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East during that time period. It also advanced into the time period of the discovering of the Americas. A fun, strategic game that also gives you a nice history lesson as you play.

With an interesting, yet fun Campaign, you assume control of a faction of the time period to build a civilization, economically and militarily. Your mission is to conquer the other factions that you are up against to win. During your turn, you move your armies, fleets, and/or agents around the map. There are two types of campaign, long and short. In the long campaign, you have to defeat one or two enemies, whereas in the long campaign you have to control at least 45 territories and one or two faction specific large cities.

This patch is the third patch for the game released specifically to enable you to play with those with the Kingdoms expansion. Released also with a few bug fixes, unlike the other patches this one mainly had one purpose and that was to make sure those with the new expansions and those without would not be disconnected from one another.
